Attendees will deepen their understanding of local, state, and national political trends and actions that are impacting school librarians work, including organized movements to restrict access to information and devalue - and potentially criminalize -- the work of librarianship. Attendees will also learn practical ways to navigate in our increasingly polarized political environment, and how to intentionally and effectively speak about the library's mission and value to students.
